what cams and springs? those numbers seem low for such a large turbo

The cams and springs were from Franklin cams here in nz they weren't anything massive and I was only running sstock pistons and rods so I believe 400wkw was about all I was going to push it and yes you are right the gt42 would make alot more power with more boost with a built block

Hey, welcome to the forum.

Those manifolds looks awesome, have you done many exhaust ones for the vq30? I'm in the market for a high mount, single turbo manifold. done many of these? with the cross over at the front?

Yes I have done a couple for my own cars aswel as a kit that bolts to the factory manifolds and relocated the turbo behind the headlight and still made 400wkw Il try dig up some pics for you

I agree with unkn0wn, those plenums are sweet!

This "kit that bolts to the factory manifolds and relocated the turbo", I would be interested in seeing photo's of it if you have any as this might interest me in the future (as I'm cheap and stuck with standard manifolds lol)

Alright guys im starting some exhaust manifolds which are thick wall 316 stainless steel with 16mm lasercut flanges and want to know what you guys would like to see as far as design with the crossover pipe being at the front or rear of the engine and have the turbo sit up in front of the strut tower or a stock position with room for a bigger unit with an external wastegate port . Any input will be good

Just the other day I had the turbo in my hands, trying to find a good spot
I think ill have to get manifolds made here - because there is so very little room for movement where i want it.

I wanted
- the crossover pipe to go over the front, then duck under the bottom radiator hose.
- The turbo flange to sit roughly right next to the little two way T fitting thats sends water to the front and rear of the engine.
~ No idea how to work the external gate into that space tho either.

Im still pondering my setup, open to input
